Emotional zone  is an artistic project we proposed for the exhibition Mouvement vers l’inconnu, that took place in Paris in December 2016.

The first idea was to study how relationship could influence our way of life and how it can generate poetical forms. This series of maps create a visual link between memories and geography. Places, areas, movement are related to someone’s behavior during a relationship in Paris like dates, habits, place of residence or way between the different places.

The scheme doesn’t reveal any information but is creating an emotional and geographical landscape, poetical maps of our contemporary life.

The second part of the job was to think about this link between places and feelings during a collective and ephemeral exhibition. On an interactive map, the spectator was invited to draw “sensitive point” which reveal his own experience of the exhibition. Instead of collected information about people, the arrangement used each point to generate an evolutionary, collective, beautiful and useless constellation.
